1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 / John Wick

As cool as Keanu Reeves is, John Wick gave him another opportunity to channel a different kind of character that doesn’t say much, but defies every logic when it comes to shooting people. Ah, and he also has cool rides.

This car was shown to be one of the most prized possessions of legendary assassin John Wick. After going to refuel it at as gas station, he encountered a group of gangsters led by Iosef Tarasov, who admired the car and attempted to buy it from John. However, John refused and drove off, frustrating Iosef.

With the help of Ford Motor Company itself, the Oklahoma-based workshop has produced screen-accurate replicas of Wick’s stallion, aptly dubbed the “Hitman.” The car starts with the restoration of a 1969-79 body — or a brand new reproduction, depending on the buyer’s preference — which is then equipped with a heft 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, which at its top model boasts a whopping 1,000 horsepower. Other features include a Boss 302 intake, both coilover front and rear suspensions, and a Tremec transmission offered in both manual or automatic.

On the inside everything is a combination of classic and modern, woodgrain aluminium steering wheel, five point seat belts, TMI mustang interior panels, a comestic rollbar, air con, JVC CD player, Kicker 5 channel amp, speakers and subwoofers along with the traditional Boss 429 interior.

John Wick’s Mustang is one of the most iconic cars to ever feature in Hollywood movies. It stands alongside James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, the Toyota Supra from the original Fast And Furious movies, or the TransAm from Smokey and the Bandit. Just like them, an original movie car is rare to come by, especially since all of them were crashed while filming.
