Here is a verified factory GT with a power convertible top. Restored in Grabber Green with white bucket seat interior, white power top with glass backlight, a rim blow steering wheel, side laser stripes, front spoiler and chrome Magnum 500 wheels.
The 302ci Cleveland V8 have been rebuilt and is topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Shaker scoop that was added during the refurbishment. Power is sent rearward via a three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a Traction-Loc rear end equipped with 3.25:1 gearing.
With Summer fast drawing to a close, logic says that now would not be the right time to splash the cash on a classic convertible. However, this 1971 Torino GT could be the right car at the right time, which would explain why the bidding has been spirited.
