1971 Ford F-250 Custom 4×4 4-Speed
The fifth generation of the Ford F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and commercial trucks that were produced by Ford from the 1967 to 1972 model years. Built on the same platform as the fourth generation F-series trucks, the fifth generation had sharper styling lines, a larger cab, and expanded engine options.
This 1971 Ford F-250 4×4 is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 360ci V8 mated with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
Eight-lug 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 285/75 Sierra Radial A/T tires. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.
The cab features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with color-matching stylized door panels. Equipment includes a locking glovebox, crank windows, a heater, and floor-mounted shift levers. The radio does not work and the rear view mirror is missing. Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.
For consignment, the pickup that works like a truck and rides like a car, this is 1971 F250. A look around this truck definitely plays that part at it is a star on our Classic Auto Mall Stage in the north hallway. Ladies and gentlemen…hold your applause until all details are revealed!
