1969 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham

If you are the sort of person who likes to get around without drawing any sort of attention to yourself, then this Matador Red 1969 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham probably isn’t the car for you. However, if you want to stand out from the crowd, then it would be just about perfect.

The Pontiac looks pretty stunning, and it is all the more impressive for a car that still wears its original paint. This has a great shine to it, and there isn’t a ding or scratch to be seen anywhere. The white power top is also said to be original, and its condition is also impressive. The chrome and trim look to be in good condition, with only a few very tiny flaws with a couple of badges.

The interior of the Bonneville is original, and once again, there isn’t a lot to fault here. The black leather seats look fantastic, while the carpet and dash also present nicely. The car also features power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, and a tilt wheel.

Gracing the engine bay of the Pontiac is a 428ci V8, pumping out 360hp. Hooked to this is a 3-speed Turbo Hydramatic transmission, while the car also features power steering and power brakes. Once again, the engine bay looks as clean and tidy as the rest of the car, and the 428 endowed the Bonneville with some fairly decent performance figures. Any time a car weighing 4,149lbs that can cover the ¼ mile in under 16 seconds has to be considered reasonably impressive. This Pontiac is more than just good looks because the owner does state that the car runs and drives really well and that it actually is a joy to drive.

This Pontiac Bonneville is not a subtle car. This is a brash and bold car with performance to match its looks. The overall original condition does indicate that the vehicle wouldn’t be put to shame if it was displayed at a car show. It is a car that is sure to attract plenty of attention wherever it goes, and its one that I wouldn’t mind having parked in my driveway.
