1968 Ford F-100 Short Bed Pickup Truck

The fifth generationof the Ford F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and commercial trucks that were produced by Ford from the 1967 to 1972 model years. Built on the same platform as the fourth generation F-series trucks, the fifth generation had sharper styling lines, a larger cab, and expanded engine options.

Side reflectors, as mandated by new safety standards, were incorporated into the side badging on the fenders. The lower bedside panels received rear marker reflectors on either side. The traditional F-Series grille redesign added a single bar to the center, breaking up the large, broad expanse of rectangular slots from the previous year.

This 1968 Ford F-100 is finished in Lunar Green over beige vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 360ci V8 paired with a C6 automatic transmission,  and a Dana 60 rear end with a locking 3.54:1 differential. Equipment includes a sliding rear window, power steering, power-assisted brakes, 15″ wheels, dual fuel tanks, and a cabin heater.

Inside the cabin, the interior was revised with updated heater controls, superior air conditioning (still optional, of course), updated armrests, interior door handles, and window cranks. Upper trim molding for premium models was also changed.

You’re looking at a desirable Ford truck made even more distinct by great investments in style and true performance. It makes for an irresistible deal you need to get your hands on right now.
