1968 Chevrolet Impala Wagon
The Impala is one of the most iconic American Sedan Nameplates. The Market for Impala’s has grown considerably and these cars are now rather hard to find. This is a fantastic example of an Impala station Wagon.
This is a perfect example of clean wagon that are extremely rare as many of them were worn out.
This 1968 Chevrolet Impala Wagon is considered rare for a few reasons, the first being that in 1968, Impala wagon sales made up less than 15 percent of approximately 700,000 cars sold; this particular example is also a special-order wagon with a partial Super Sport package that includes an all-vinyl interior, SS badging, a center console and certain suspension components, adding to its rarity. The teal exterior is in good condition along with all the chrome accents including the grille, front and rear bumpers, window surrounds, SS badging and custom wheels. The new interior is virtually untouched, and it features matching teal upholstery, door panels and carpeting, a deluxe steering wheel, foam seat cushions on both the front and rear seats, a personalized gauge cluster mounted under the dash.
Pop the engine hood and the monstrous 327 V8 with 350HP is stately placed in the very crisp and detailed engine bay. It is very apparent that this car was enjoyed and loved by the previous owners.
This 1968 Chevrolet Impala Wagon looks like it could hold its own at a local car show with a different set of wheels and a fresh interior but could easily blast across the country on a whim no problem.
