1964 Chrysler 9 Passenger Wagon

We’re well aware that old American station wagons aren’t what generally get our readers’ juices flowing. As with every rule, however, there are exceptions, and this happens to be one of them.

Feast your eyes on a 1964 Chrysler 9 Passenger Wagon. It was the last year of the pillarless hardtop wagon, offering unobstructed views from any seat during a road trip.

This is 1964 Chrysler Newport 4 door pillarless 9 seater wagon. LHD. The original factory 361 c.i engine and 727 torque flight push button auto starts, runs and shifts excellent. Very rare car in the USA and even rarer in Australia.

You will be proud to own this exceptional and well-preservedexample of Chrysler’s “top of the line” Station Wagon with stately elegance and hardtop styling. Research tells us that only about 1,600 of the New Yorker Town and Country Wagons were built… it was very expensive in its day. We think that this has to be one of the best “unrestored” that can be found anywhere, and what makes it particularlyattractive as an “investment”, is that it can be driven and enjoyed when not displaying it proudly at any collector car show or event.
